Book Nanny is Bernadette Kearns
Bernadette has a BA Honours Degree in English and German from University College Dublin and a First Class Honours Degree in Theatre Arts from Rose Bruford College, one of the UK’s top drama schools. She worked in London as a professional actress, director, playwright and theatre administrator, and gained first-hand experience of publishing and author slush piles from assignments with The Times newspaper and publishing house, Fourth Estate.
Since returning to Dublin, Bernadette has combined a career as a Legal Executive – copy-editing legal articles and providing legal German translations – with her creative arts work. In addition to her editing work, she also facilitates drama workshops for actors and writers and acts as a freelance script consultant/editor for a London-based film production company.
Bernadette is a Full Member of the Association of Freelance Editors, Proofreaders and Indexers of Ireland (AFEPI Ireland).
